The Center for Media and Dialogue recently concluded its impactful youth conference in Kemer-Antalya, Turkey, focusing on the influence of social media on self-image among European youth.

With young delegates from across Europe, including the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, and Turkey, the event provided a vital platform for discussing social media’s complex impact on self-perception, body positivity, and mental health.

Abdulahi Mohamed, Chairman of CMD, emphasized the importance of this initiative, describing it as a step towards helping young people understand both the benefits and challenges of the digital landscape.

The three-day conference featured workshops, discussions, and strategy sessions aimed at promoting a healthier, more mindful approach to social media. Through engaging sessions, participants were encouraged to recognize social media’s potential for positivity while navigating its challenges.
